MONIFLEX insulation material (drain board) was developed and patented in the 1930s and has been in continuous use for more than 60 years. For more than 60 years, it has been used by the Scandinavian automotive industry as an insulation material for passenger rail vehicles. Over the years, it has been refined and improved, especially in terms of fire resistance MONIFLEX insulation (leachboard) is made from the same natural raw materials as paper-cellulose. In view of current concerns about the environment and the use of natural resources MONIFLEX insulation (dripboard) has re-emerged as the obvious choice of insulation material.
